The Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António organizes, on May 16, 17, and 18, 2025, the third edition of the VRSA 18th Century Historical Festival. The event offers the public the following cultural experiences: Market, historical reenactments, masquerade ball, typical feasts, historical parade, theater banquet, poetry, music, serenades, and dances.

Tanto Mar, in its 6th edition, is yet another action to promote the artistic offer and cultural development of the Algarve. Since its inception, it has maintained a close relationship with Cineteatro Louletano – where the shows take place in the areas of theatre, dance, performance, and music.

The magic of Ivete Sangalo is coming to the Algarve! The Bahian artist is preparing to bring her show to Lagoa, celebrating her 30-year career with a musical journey filled with hits that have marked generations. Ivete Sangalo guarantees a breathtaking performance, where fun and emotion are always present.

From May 26 to June 1, the Nautical Station of Faro, coordinated by the Municipality of Faro, organizes the 3rd edition of the Faro Nautical Week, an event that brings together a program of activities promoted by public entities, private organizations, and tourism operators in the municipality. The main objective is to enhance and boost nautical tourism, engaging both the local community and visitors through diverse and educational experiences. Throughout the week, various initiatives will be available for residents, tourists, and visitors in general, as well as activities aimed at local schools and institutions. The public will be able to enjoy unique experiences in the region, with special offers, discounts, and free activities that include boat trips, canoeing lessons, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing, and kitesurfing.

A gastronomic event that reinforces the Algarve's (and Portugal's) reputation as a leading destination for gastronomic and wine tourism. The festival showcases the best products, the finest producers, the top chefs, and the natural and cultural resources connected to our culinary heritage, in a relaxed, sophisticated, and creative environment, focused on the environmental, social, cultural, and economic sustainability of the region.

An event that aims to boost the municipality at a gastronomic level and highlight local products: sausages, medronho (arbutus brandy), honey, local sweets, and handicrafts. "Vamos à Vila" intends to be a moment of celebration of local traditions. A tribute to what has been and what is intended to be preserved as tradition. An event with authenticity and essence, inviting everyone to participate in sharing the knowledge and flavors of Monchique. Those who came before us (our past and traditions) deserve attention. And that is exactly what we will give them with this event, which aims to be as complete as possible: gastronomy, handicrafts, but also music, art, popular culture, among others.

The event is free to enter and is organized by the Municipality of Albufeira, in partnership with the W Algarve hotel, the Portuguese gin brand Black Pig, and the Parish Council of Albufeira and Olhos de Água.

In addition to a musical lineup that brings the best names from the world music industry to Portugal, the festival also embraces a fusion of cultural expressions, ranging from gastronomy to visual arts, street entertainment, handicrafts, dance, theatre, cinema, poetry, workshops, and much more, with a clear objective of promoting interculturality, unity among peoples, and tolerance.

A festival dedicated to the flavors of the sea, with goose neck barnacle as the star, offering three days of the best seafood from Vila do Bispo and the Costa Vicentina. The event also features an exhibition area and musical performances to liven up the festival nights.
The 11th edition of this event, held near the E.B. 2,3 School of São Vicente in Vila do Bispo, is organized by the Vila do Bispo Municipality in partnership with the Association of Shellfish Gatherers of Vila do Bispo and Costa Vicentina.
